ACTIVE DUTY SOLDIERS
As an active duty Army Soldier or activated Army Reserve Soldier you will earn Army Basic Pay.
This pay accounts for just a portion of your total income each month.
HOW’S THE MONEY?
Army Basic Pay scale as a Soldier depends on how long you’ve been in the Army and your rank.
Army Basic Pay will increase as you climb in rank and years of experience.

BASIC ALLOWANCE for HOUSING and FOOD
The Army will provide pay for you and your family to have a suitable place for living. The amount you will receive will be based on your rank and on the location you are serving.
